Dozogiri + G-Weezing

Neutralizing Gas is the weird tech — turn one, their Intimidate, Prankster, and other nonsense just don’t exist, which buys you a cleaner setup window than a normal Dozo stack gets. You then get Weezing off the field so Commander can actually trigger, and suddenly Dondozo is +2 across the board while you still controlled how abilities resolved at the start.

Gameplan

Opening

Lead Galar Weezing beside Dondozo when you want Gas to blank a specific ability matchup — Taunt stops lazy screens or Trick Room, Will-O-Wisp punishes physical leads, and Rocky Helmet chips contact if they try to brute-force Weezing down.

Mid-game

Swap Weezing out on the turn you’re ready for Commander (often after you’ve disrupted what Gas was for); Tatsugiri slides in and Dondozo becomes the win condition with Order Up and Sub. If Gas was doing more work than Dozo would, don’t rush the swap — it’s a sequencing deck, not a flowchart.

End-game

Ting-Lu backs the special matchups once abilities are back online, Flutter Mane gives you a fast alternate win path, and Safety Goggles Incineroar handles the Amoonguss games without feeding spores — pick the backline pair that fixes what Gas didn’t solve.
